About Us
**Shop Ditto is the destination for skincare deals and to buy in teams to save money. Our mission is to help you and the people you love save money
Think of us as 'Pinduoduo for the US', though we're quite different.** Pinduoduo has disrupted Chinese e-commerce and today is worth $80 billion. It's time to bring social commerce to the US and change the way Americans shop online
You form a team to unlock a lower price and then have 24 hours to find 2 friends to buy the same product and join your team. If you get 2 friends in time, then everyone gets the product at the lower price. If you don't get 2 friends in time, no one is charged anything, so there is no risk
****We‘ve launched our beta, raised a large pre-seed, and are publicly launching in the next couple of months. Come join the ride
Your Role
We're looking for a Head of Product to join our founding team. This entails building our product roadmap, being an active product manager, coordinating quick implementation, and leading as we scale. Specifically, you'll:
- Define a coherent strategy - work with our CEO to define our long-term product vision, near-term product roadmap, and quantifiable product goals
- Get inside the mind of our users - collect qualitative feedback and analyze quantitative data to generate actionable insights
- Ship frequent improvements - collaborate with our CTO, engineering, and design to quickly ship new experiments
- Build an organization - help hire, manage, and mentor our product and engineering orgs. We need to build the team and processes to move faster and scale
- Whatever else it takes to drive learning and product growth. :) Success is ultimately based on how much our users love us
Your Experience
- 5+ years of mobile product experience, particularly in the e-commerce, social, or gaming areas, given our shopping experience is interactive and social
- Technical knowledge - you will need to be familiar with mobile technologies such as React Native, Firebase, Mixpanel, APIs, mobile marketing partners, etc (or their equivalents)
- Eye for delightful design and user experiences - you will need to be able to communicate using design tools like Figma, Invision, Adobe Suite, etc
- User research chops - you will need to dig to unearth what drives behavior using ethnography, generative interviews, evaluative interviews, and A/B testing
- An entrepreneurial, learning mindset - you will need to make fast decisions amid ambiguity, roll up your sleeves to get work done, fail, learn, and try again
